I just got some Dr. Comfort Shoes from the foot Dr. Got my insurance bill $350.00 for the shoes $360.00 for the inserts….Dr. office told me when we ordered the shoes were 150.00 I said go ahead and order them. My husband has Medicare BUT it goes to my insurance first. I called the Dr. office asked them about it, they said that’s what Medicare will pay up to.
NOW WHO IN THERE RIGHT MIND WOULD SPEND $350 PLUS $360 FOR INSERTS $710.00 I don’t make that much money.. WAKE UP DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS……

I just received my copy of the bill Medicare & my insurance paid for and was going to write and complain. Now I feel lucky. My shoes were $130.00 and $240.00 for inserts (6 pair). No wonder Medicare is hurting and insurance companies thriving.

Marie, MEDICARE IS THE ONE THAT SAYS HOW MUCH THEY WILL PAY FOR THE SHOES. WHY WOULD THE “FOOT DR.” CHARGE LESS THAN WHAT THEY TELL HIM HE CAN CHARGE?
